Where are your products made and how are ingredients sourced?
Everything is handcrafted in Alberta, Canada. We source certified organic or pesticide-free ingredients whenever possible, and every ingredient is chosen for its integrity and impact—on your skin and the environment. Subtle shifts in color or texture are signs of seasonality and freshness, not flaws.


Are your products clean and cruelty-free?
Yes. All of our formulas are certified clean and cruelty-free. We proudly hold both CertClean and Leaping Bunny Certifications.


Why ultraviolet glass packaging?
Our violet glass doesn’t just look beautiful—it’s functional. It protects each formula from visible light while allowing in beneficial UV rays, helping to preserve freshness and extend shelf life naturally. It’s also reusable, recyclable, and aligned with our sustainability ethos.

What makes One Compass different?
At One Compass, maximalism is approached with intention. Each formula is built in layers—rooted in the belief that skin benefits from depth, precision and cumulative performance.

Every composition begins with a slow, four-week infusion of 14 certified-organic botanicals, creating a nutrient dense foundation. From this base, specialty plant oils and clinically proven ingredients are added to support the skin as a complete, balanced system.  

Prepared in limited monthly batches, each formula reflects a process where time is part of the formulation. With no added fragrance, the line is designed for skin that demands both gentleness and performance.


Why do your products have so many ingredients?
Because skin responds to depth when built with intention. Our approach to maximalism is rooted in composition—layering botanicals, specialty plant oils, and clinically proven ingredients so they work in harmony.  

Each element has a role, supporting the skin as a complete system, with performance that develops over time. 

The PRODUCTS

What is The Clay Cleanser?
A transforming clay cleanser that melts into the skin and emulsifies with warm to hot water into a milk-like texture. Formulated with mineral-rich French green clay to draw out buildup while maintaining the skin's balance—leaving it clear, soft and comfortable. 

How long does The Clay Cleanser last?
With AM/PM use, the 30 mL jar lasts 6–8 weeks.

My Clay Cleanser melted—can I still use it?
Absolutely. If you prefer its balm texture, tighten the lid and melt it gently in hot water (not boiling), then cool in the refrigerator. Texture variations do not affect efficacy.

Can I use these if I have oily or blemish-prone skin?
Yes. The Concentrate helps balance and calm inflammation. The Clay Cleanser purifies without disrupting the skin's barrier. Together, they offer support, not stripping—perfect for sensitive or blemish-prone skin.

Are your products safe for pregnancy or nursing?
Our formulas are composed with care and without harsh or disruptive ingredients. For guidance during pregnancy or while nursing, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider.

How long should I use my One Compass products after they are blended?
Each formulation is blended in small monthly batches. Packaging reflects a 12 month period after opening; however, we recommend using both products within 6 months of their blending date to experience each at its freshest. Each bottle and jar includes its blending month and lot number.

What are your products free from?
No aluminum, talc, parabens, PEGs, sulfates, silicones, mineral oil, GMOs, artificial fragrance, essential oils, palm oil, or synthetic dyes. No shortcuts. No compromise.

Which skin types are your products suitable for?
Our formulas are designed for all skin types, with particular consideration for sensitive, reactive, blemish-prone, and mature skin. Composed without added fragrance and common irritants, they are well suited to even the most delicate complexions.


What is The Concentrate?
A silky, multi-layered facial oil with 58 ingredients: botanical infusions, specialist plant oils, and proven clinical ingredients like vitamin C, bakuchiol, and coenzyme Q10. It restores balance, enhances radiance, and helps build long-term skin resilience.


Why use The Concentrate instead of a lotion or cream?
Creams and lotions are largely water-based and heavily preserved. The Concentrate is a waterless,  preservative-free, nutrient-dense formula designed for depth and cumulative results.

Built entirely from botanicals, specialty plant oils and clinically proven ingredients,  this oil-based format allows the composition to remain highly potent. 


Why do you include ingredients like CoQ10 and Vitamin C?
These clinical ingredients elevate our formulas, helping brighten, firm, and protect. We use them at meaningful, skin-compatible concentrations—not just to include them, but to make a visible difference. This is where powerful plants meet proven science.


How long does The Concentrate last?
With AM/PM use, our 50 mL bottle lasts approximately 8–10 weeks.
